STUFFED MONTEREY MUSHROOMS

24 medium mushroom caps, stems removed and minced
1 (1 lb) pkg spiced sausage
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
2 oz Monterey jack cheese, grated
1 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes
2 tbsp parmesan cheese, grated

Preheat oven to 350. Wipe mushrooms clean. Cook sausage and minced mushrooms until done; drain, and place in a mixing bowl. Add next 3 ingredients. Mix well.

Place 1 heaping tsp of mixture into each mushroom cap. Place the stuffed mushroom caps on a rimmed baking pan and sprinkle with parmesan cheese and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
