Shelly's Recipe

*HEAVENLY HAMBURGER CASSEROLE*

2 lbs ground beef
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder or 1/2 clove garlic, minced
1 (30 oz) tomato sauce
16 oz pkg egg noodles
1 pint sour cream
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, room temperature
6 green onions, chopped
2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated

Brown the ground beef and drain. Add sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder and tomato sauce. Let simmer 10 minutes. Boil noodles, drain. Combine onions, sour cream and cream cheese.

Alternate meat mixture, noodles, and cream cheese mixture in layers into a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle with cheeses. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Serves 6 -8
