GOOP IN A POT

1 lb sausage and ground beef
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 large can mushrooms, tomatoes and kidney beans, undrained
1 tbsp chili powder
1 large onion, green pepper and stalk celery, chopped
1 tbsp parsley
8 oz shell or elbow macaroni

Brown meats with salt and pepper in a Dutch oven. While browning, add chopped vegetables and parsley and continue cooking until vegetables are tender; drain. In a large pot, add remaining ingredients and simmer 10-15 minutes. Add pasta and cook until pasta is tender. Serves 6
