SOUTHWESTERN MAC AND BEEF

1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt and oregano
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 (10 1/2 oz) can beef broth
2 soup cans water
1 (15 oz) can stewed tomatoes
1 (4 oz) can chopped green chilies
1 cup elbow macaroni, uncooked
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
In a Dutch oven, cook first 6 ingredients until browned and stirring to separate meat. Drain.
Add soup; stir until smooth. Stir in broth and next 3 ingredients. Heat to boiling. Add macaroni. Reduce heat to low. Cook 12 minutes or until macaroni is tender, stir occasionally.
During last 5 minutes of cooking, sprinkle cheese on top, cover to allow cheese to melt. Serves 4
