BLACK FOREST DUMP CAKE

1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple, reserve liquid
1 box devils food cake mix
1 (16 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup butter, melted
Whipped topping

Drain pineapple, reserving liquid. Spread pineapple in a lightly greased 13x9 inch baking pan. Add pie filling, spreading gently.

Next, sprinkle dry cake mix on pie filling, and then sprinkle with pecans. Combine reserved pineapple liquid with the butter and drizzle over the mixture in pan. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. Cut into squares and top with whipped topping.
