TURTLE DOVE BARS

Crust
2 cups flour
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup pecans

Filling
2/3 cup butter
1/2 cup packed brown sugar, semi-sweet chocolate chips and butterscotch flavored chips

Preheat oven to 350. In a mixer combine crust ingredients except pecans. Beat until well mixed and particles are fine, 203 minutes. Press on bottom of a 13x9 inch baking pan. Sprinkle pecans evenly over unbaked crust.

In a saucepan, combine butter and sugar and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full boil, 4-5 minutes. Boil, stirring constantly, 2-3 minutes or until candy thermometer reaches 242 degrees. Pour over pecans and crust.

Bake 18-20 minutes or until entire caramel layer is bubbly. Immediately sprinkle with both types of chips. Allow to melt slightly, 3-5 minutes. Swirl chips leaving some whole for marbled effect. Cool completely and cut into bars.
