MOON RIVER PASTA

8 oz penne noodles or other pasta
12 oz asparagus spears, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces (save a few whole spears for garnish)
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup finely chopped sweet red pepper
1 clover garlic, minced
1/2 tsp dried basil, crushed
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
4 (4 oz) tuna or salmon steaks, cut 1/2 inch thick
Cook pasta according to pkg directions, adding asparagus spears the last 5 minutes of cooking. Drain; set aside any whole spears.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the browth and next 4 ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce. Boil gently, uncovered 10-12 minutes. Stir in lemon and oil; set aside.
Place fish on greased grill rack. Grill directly over medium-high coals for 4-6 minutes. Toss hot pasta and asparagus with broth mixture. Serve fish over pasta. Serves 4
