WHITE CHOCOLATE-MACADAMIA NUT COOKIES

1 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt and baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
1/2 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts

Heat oven to 375. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

In large bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Stir in vanilla and egg until combined. Stir in butter and brown sugar until well-mixed. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.

Drop by tspfuls 2 inches apart onto baking sheets. Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets 3 minutes; cool completely on wire racks.3 dozen cookies.
