HAM TETRAZZINE

1 1/2 cups cubed smoked ham
2 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup flour
4 cups cooked noodles
1/2 cup diced green or red bell pepper
1 1/2 cups milk
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tbsp sherry
1/2 tsp pepper
2/3 cup seasoned dry breadcrumbs, sprinkle on top

Preheat oven to 425. Mix together flour, milk, broth and pepper. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and saute peppers and mushrooms for about 4 minutes. Add flour mixture and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Combine the sauce with the remaining ingredients and pour into a casserole dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake for 10 minutes or until casserole bubbles. Serves 4
