CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER PRALINE BARS

1 (18 1/4 -oz) pkg devils food cake mix
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 large egg
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 (8-oz) pkg toffee pieces
1 cup caramel bits
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp unsalted butter
Preheat oven to 350. Thoroughly grease bottom and sides of 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, peanut butter, egg, oil and toffee pieces to make crumbs. Press two-thirds of the mixture into greased baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle caramel bits over the crust. Cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes.
In a heavy saucepan, heat the milk, chocolate chips and butter over low heat; stir until blended. Pour over crust. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes longer or until set. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
