CHEESY POTATO CASSEROLE

Category: Hash Brown Potatoes/Casseroles

1 (32 oz) pkg frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed and squeezed dry
1 onion, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup
16 oz sour cream
1 tsp garlic powder and salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 cup grated cheese (cheddar, swiss, jalapeño, Monterey jack... whatever you have!)
1/2 cup melted butter
1 1/2 cup crushed regular corn flakes

Preheat your oven to 350. Butter or grease a 13x9 inch pan. Combine all ingredients except last two and pour into the prepared pan. Mix the melted butter with the corn flake crumbs and spread over the top of all. Cover with foil and bake 50 minutes and then remove the foil and continue baking for 15 minutes until golden brown.
