SNOW CAPPED PATE

1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/4 cup butter
1 lb chicken livers, thawed
2 tsp flour
1/4 tsp dried thyme leaves, crushed
Dash pepper
4 tsp brandy
2 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese, cubed and softened
3 tbsp milk
1/4 cup snipped parsley
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Cook onion and garlic in butter until tender. Add liver and cook, covered 7-8 minutes. Stir in flour, salt, thyme and pepper. Blend until smooth. Add cream cheese and milk to blender. Cover and blend until smooth. Spread over mold. Chill until serving time. Sprinkle with parsley and nuts on top of pate and serve with crackers.
