SMOKED SAUSAGE STUFFED MUSHROOMS I

Category: Stuffed Mushrooms

1 lb large mushrooms, stems removed and minced
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 lb smoked sausage, casing removed, grind meat to resemble ground meat
1/2 cup finely chopped green onions and green or red bell pepper
1/2 tsp salt, pepper and garlic powder
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup bread crumbs

Saute sausage, vegetables, seasonings and mushrooms for 10 minutes. Reduce heat, stir in broth and cook for 10 minutes. Add vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and bread crumbs; stir well. Remove form heat and let cool to touch. Spoon into caps and place in a baking dish. Spray with cooking spray. Cover and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
