MUSHROOMS STUFFED WITH SMOKED GOUDA

24 - 30 small to medium mushrooms
1 clove garlic, minced
1 green onion, minced
4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
4 oz smoked Gouda, cut into cubes
Dash Tabasco
Dash salt and black pepper

Clean mushrooms. Remove stems from mushrooms and chop fine. Process the garlic and green onion until minced. Add both cheeses and process until mixed well and put into a small bowl. Fold in chopped mushroom stems, Tabasco, salt and pepper. Stuff each mushroom with a tspful of mixture and bake at 400 for 12 to 15 minutes, or until starting to brown. Serve while warm with Lambert Bridge Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc. 6 to 8 appetizer servings.
