MARINATED CHUCK STEAK II
Category: Beef Steaks
1/2 cup sweet onion, sliced very thinly
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil or vegetable oil
1/2 tsp salt, celery salt, black pepper, dried thyme, dried oregano and dried, crushed rosemary
1 garlic clove, minced
2 1/2 lbs chuck steak, cut 1/2 inch thick
Combine all except steak. Marinate the steak for at least 3 hours, turning several times. Grill steak over wood, hot coals or a gas grill on low heat. Grill for about 30 minutes or until done as desired. Boil the marinade for a couple minutes after removing the raw meat, and use to baste the steak during cooking. Serves 4
