ITALIAN BEEF KABOBS

2 beef bone-in sirloin or round steak, 3/4 lb, 1 inch thick
4 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar and water
2 tsp dried marjoram leave and sugar
Remove fat from beef. Cut beef into 1 inch pieces. Mix remaining ingredients. Place all ingredients in resealable plastic bag. Cover and refrigerate, turning occasionally, at least 1 hour but no longer than 12 hours. Set up grill to medium heat.
Remove beef from marinade; reserve marinade. Thread beef on each of 8 (10 inch) skewers, leaving 1/2 inch space between each. Brush kabobs with marinade. Place kabobs on grill and grill for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally and brushing with marinade after 3 minutes. Discard any remaining marinade. Serves 4
