DRUNKEN T-BONE STEAK
Category: Beef Steaks
2 (1 inch thick) T-bone steaks, sirloin strip steaks, top round or flank steak (about 3 lbs)
4 tsp garlic and pepper steak seasoning
1 cup Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 cup smoky barbecue sauce
3 tbsp bourbon
2 tbsp butter and Worcestershire Sauce
Place steaks into resealable plastic food storage bag. Pour 1 cup Worcestershire over steaks. Marinate in refrigerator 1 to 3 hours. Meanwhile, prepare sauce. Combine barbecue sauce, bourbon, butter and 2 tbsp Worcestershire in saucepan. Heat to boiling. Simmer 3 minutes; reserve.
Drain steaks. Rub steak seasoning into meat, coating both sides. Cook steaks over high direct heat, about 7 minutes per side for medium-rare or to desired doneness. Let steaks rest 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with sauce on the side.
