CHOCOLATE CANDY SQUARES

1/2 cup butter, melted
2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
1 cup walnuts, chopped
6 oz chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups coconut flakes
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cup brown sugar, packed

Preheat oven to 350. Pour melted butter into the bottom of a 13x9 baking pan. Add an even layer of wafer crumbs. Then a layer of nuts, then chocolate chips, then coconut flakes.

In a mixing bowl, blend evaporated milk with brown sugar. Pour over the layered mixture, evenly. Bake for 25 minutes. Let cool for an hour before cutting into squares. Makes 24 squares
