CARAMEL POPCORN WITH PEANUTS

20 cups popped popcorn
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
1/2 cup molasses and packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups dry roasted peanuts, unsalted
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 350. Set popcorn aside in a large bowl. Line 2 baking sheets with cooking spray.
Combine butter, molasses and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring with a wooden spoon, until mixture begins to boil. Stop stirring and cook 4 minutes more. Add vanilla and peanuts; stir to combine and cook 2 minutes more. Remove from the heat and stir in the milk and salt.
Pour caramel over popcorn, mix well, tossing with 2 wooden spoons. Be careful not to get any on you skin. Divide mixture between prepared sheets. Bake for 15 minutes, stir after 7 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool enough to handle and break into clumps. Allow to cool completely. Stir in an airtight container.
