COUNTY STYLE CHICKEN KIEV

4 chicken breasts or thighs
3/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp dried basil and oregano, crushed
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup dry white wine
4 green onions, chopped
1 cup chopped parsley

In a pie plate, combine bread crumbs with cheese and herbs, salt and garlic powder. Dip chicken in melted butter and then roll in crumb mixture, covering completely. Arrange skin side up in an ungreased 13x9 inch baking pan. Add wine, onion and parsley to remaining butter; set aside. Bake at 375 until browned, fork-tender and completely done, about 35-40 minutes. During last 5 minutes of baking, pour butter sauce over chicken in pan. Serves 4
