BACON WRAPPED CHICKEN LIVERS

12 oz chicken livers
8 slices bacon, partially cooked
1 cup button mushrooms
Favorite barbecue sauce
Cut bacon in half and wrap chicken livers with it. Thread livers and bacon onto a bamboo skewer (previously soaked in water to prevent burning.)
Drizzle liver and mushrooms with olive oil and grill over medium-high beat for approximately 8 minutes, turn and cook another 8 minutes. Brush with barbecue sauce liberally on both sides.
NOTE: Can be baked at 350, rotating the skewers until the bacon is browned and brushing with barbecue sauce. Serves 4
