2 1/4 cups flour
• 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 3/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 cup butter
• 1 1/2 cups chopped cashews
Blend all ingredients except cashews, and mix thoroughly. Fold in cashews. Drop on baking sheets and bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
