1 lb bulk pork sausage and ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 (28 oz) can tomatoes, chopped, liquid reserved
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp dried, crushed red pepper
10 cups shredded cabbage

In a Dutch oven, brown meat and onion; drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients except cabbage; mix well. Stir in cabbage and simmer 15-20 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Serves 10-12
