SHRIMP AND CRABMEAT CASSEROLE

1/2 lb macaroni
1 tbsp salt and oil
6 tbsp butter
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms sliced
1 cup light cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 lb cooked shrimp, shelled and deveined
1 cup crabmeat
1 cup breadcrumbs

Add the salt and oil to 3 quarts boiling water. Add the macaroni and cook until ala dente. Drain and toss with 4 tbsp of the butter.

Saute the mushrooms with 2 tbsp of the butter for about 5 minutes. Add the cream, mushroom soup and cheddar cheese and cook until it is blended. Add the macaroni, shrimp and crabmeat. Pour into a buttered casserole dish. Top with the bread crumbs. Bake at 35. for 30 minutes. Serves 6.
