BABY RUTH COOKIES

1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup peanut butter, creamy
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/4 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup milk
5 Baby Ruth candy bars (1.09 oz each), cut up

Cream butter, peanut butter and sugar until light and fluffy; beat in beaten eggs ad mix well; add vanilla.

Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with the milk. Stir in the cut-up Baby Ruth pieces. Drop from tsp on buttered cookie sheets. Bake at 375 until golden brown, about 12-15 minutes.
