Use as many frown (thawed) hash brown squares as you want pancakes. Break into bowl and add 1 tbsp flour, 1 egg, some grated onion, 1 tbsp applesauce or grated fresh apple, salt and pepper, to taste and some nutmeg. Fry a large spoonful in a hot oiled skillet and brown on each side.
