CRANBERRIES JUBILEE

1 lb pkg fresh cranberries
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2cup sugar
1 gallon vanilla ice cream

Dissolve the sugar into the orange juice, whisking over medium heat in a saucepan. Add cranberries and simmer until the cranberries are soft. Serve over ice cream. Serves 10 to 12
