1 1/2 cups wild rice
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
6 tbsp butter
8 oz fresh mushrooms, slicked
1/2 cup pecans, toasted & chopped
1/2 cup bourbon
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp rubbed sage
1/2 tsp fresh thyme leaves
Salt & pepper to taste
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Cook rice according to pkg directions. Cook onion and garlic in butter until tender, about 4 minutes. Add mushrooms; continue to cook about 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add remaining ingredients and cooked rice. Increase heat to medium-high. Cook uncovered 8 minutes or until rice and mushrooms are glazed, stirring occasionally.
