1 lb ground chuck
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 cup diced celery
1/4 cup diced green pepper
1 (16 oz) can stewed tomatoes
1 (can tomato soup
2 cups water
1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped cabbage
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1-2 tsp chili powder
1 tbsp brown sugar

Cook and stir ground chuck in Dutch oven until light brown. Add onion, celery and green pepper, cooking several minutes. Stir in stewed tomatoes, soup, water, cabbage, salt, pepper, brown sugar and chili pepper to taste. Heat to boiling. Reduce to simmer until cabbage is tender.
