CANDY BAR PIZZA

2 cups quick cooking oats
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup light corn syrup
2 tbsp butter, melted
2 tbsp chunky peanut butter
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Filling
26 caramels
2 tbsp water
1 (6 oz) pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup chunky peanut butter
2 tbsp vegetable shortening
1/2 cup salted peanuts

Preheat oven to 350. Crust: Combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients; stir until well blended. Press mixture into bottoms of 2 (9 inch) round cake pans. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool in pans for 10 minutes

Filling: Melt caramels and water in the microwave for about 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute. Spread evenly over crusts. Melt chocolate chips in microwave for about 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute. Add peanut butter and shortening; stir until well blended. Stir in peanut and spread over caramel layers. Chill 20 minutes or until chocolate is firm. Cut into wedges.
