GRILLED GARLIC BREAD II

1 loaf French or Italian-style bread, sliced into 12 slices
1 cup mayonnaise
6 cloves minced garlic
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tbsp half-and-half
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste

Heat the grill to medium. Combine the mayonnaise, garlic, and parmesan cheese in a small bowl.

In a saucepan over medium-low heat, mix cheese, half-and-half, paprika, salt and pepper. Stir constantly until melted and smooth. Pour into bowl with mayonnaise mixture, stirring until well blended.

Place the bread on the grill, cut side down, and let it toast for a few minutes. Remove from grill and spread one side of each slice of bread with the mixture.

Place halves back together and wrap the loaf in foil. Return to the grill for about 15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the loaf is heated through and the cheese mixture is hot.
