Shelly's Recipe

NORTH CAROLINA BBQ SAUCE

1 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tsp red pepper
3/4 cup water
1 dash sugar
2/3 cup minced onions
1 bay leaf
1 clove garlic, crushed
2/3 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp peanut oil
1 tsp black pepper

Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a rapid boil, and then simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cool, and store your bottle in the refrigerator.
