My Favorite Marinated Wings

1 (.75 ounce) packet Italian Dressing mix

1/4 cup white vinegar

1/2 cup vegetable oil

3 tablespoons water

2 tablespoons honey

3 pounds chicken drummettes or wing portions, wing tips removed

Place dressing mix, vinegar, oil, water, and honey in a medium bowl and whisk until well combined. Place chicken pieces in a gallon sized ziploc bag. Pour marinade over chicken. Seal bag securely. Place bag on a plate and turn the bag over about 4 or 5 times. Refrigerate anywhere from 2 to 8 hours. When ready to cook the wings, preheat broiler to high. Move highest oven rack to highest position in the oven (about 3 inches from broiler).

Using tongs, place wings on broiler pan. Broil for 8 to 10 minutes on one side (checking often to make sure they don’t get too dark). Turn over and broil for 8 to 10 minutes on other side. Remove from oven, pile the wings on a platter and DIG IN!
