Shelly's Recipe

*SUMMER SQUASH CASSEROLE*

2 cup yellow crookneck squash slices
2 slices of onion, chopped

Put these into a small pot and barely cover with water, season with salt and pepper.

When they are done about 10 minutes on medium and drain, put everything in a bowl and add:

1/2 pint sour cream
1/2 stick of butter
1 cup grated cheese
24 saltines, crushed

Mix all this together well and put into a greased casserole. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
