STEAK PIZZAIOLA

4 boneless shell steaks
4 cups marinara sauce
1 cup chicken or beef stock
1 lb mushrooms, sliced
1 large green and red bell pepper, sliced and seed removed
1/4 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste

Grill or broil steaks until rare. While steaks are cooking, heat oil in a saute pan and add vegetables; saute 2-3 minutes. Drain oil and place steaks in pan. Season with salt and pepper. Add sauce and stock; simmer for 4-5 minutes. Remove steaks to serving platter, cook sauce for 2 more minutes to reduce. Pour sauce over steaks and serve.
