Shelly's Recipe

BOURBON CHILI

4 lbs lean ground beef
1 cup bourbon
3/4 cup chili powder
1 tsp oregano
1 tbsp diced onion
3/4 tsp salt
1 (16 oz) can kidney beans
2 oz semi-sweet chocolate
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
6 8-oz cans water
1 tsp cumin
2 tsp paprika and garlic powder
4 small cans chopped green chilies
1 (14 oz) can whole corn

Brown ground beef and drain off fat. Add ingredients one at a time in order listed. Simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Makes about 1 1/2 gallons of chili.
