HOT CRAB DIB IV
Category: Dips - Seafood Hot
3 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup dry white wine
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1/2 minced onion
2 cloves garlic, pressed
1/4 cup chopped pimiento
1 lb flaked crab meat
1/2 cup toasted sliveredd almonds
2 tbsp dry parsley
Thoroughly combine the first 9 ingredients. Fold in crab and heat. Transfer to a chafing dish and sprinkle with almonds and parsley. Serve with crackers.
Good also served cold.
Variation: Can pour the dip into a 2 lb round loaf of bread that has had the top sliced off and the center scooped out. Replace the top and Bake at 350 until very warm. Serve with vegetable and crackers.
