POTATO ONION CASSEROLE

6 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 pkg onion soup mix
2-3 tbsp butter
2 cups boiling water

Place potato slices in a shallow baking dish. Rehydrate the soup in 2 cups boiling water and allow to simmer for a few minutes. Pour soup mixture over potatoes and dot heavily with butter. Bake, uncovered, for 50 minutes at 375.
