GREAT GRILLED RIBS

5 lbs Ribs
Onion stuck with cloves
2 tsp. Marjoram
1/4 cup soy sauce
Boil ribs in water with onion, marjoram and soy sauce added, for one hour.
Sauce:
2 tbsp olive oil
2 onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp crystallized ginger, chopped
1 (16 oz) can tomatoes and juice
1 cup bottled chili sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
4 tbsp honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup wine
Cayenne & black pepper
1 tbsp chili powder
1/8 tsp oregano
Heat olive oil. Add onions & garlic and sauté. Add ginger, tomatoes and remaining ingredients. Cook to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Use a blender or food processor to process the sauce until almost smooth. Cook for another 10 minutes following processing. Put boiled ribs on grill for 30 minutes and baste with sauce. Serve additional sauce on the side.
