CARAMEL NUT CLUSTERS

1/2 lb soft caramels
2 tbsp heavy cream
1 cup pecan halves
1/2 cup milk chocolate
2 tsp butter

Melt caramels in cream in a double boiler. Cool caramel, stirring, for 3-5 minutes. Place pecan halves on waxed paper in groups of three. Spoon caramel over center of nuts. (Do not cover tips.) Refrigerate 1/2 hour. Melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler; then cool to luke warm. Spread over clusters. Chill. Makes 12-15 clusters.
