CANDY BAR FUDGE I

1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup baking cocoa
1/4 cup packed brown sugar and milk
3 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
30 caramels, unwrapped
1 tbsp water
2 cups salted peanuts
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup each semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips

Combine first 4 ingredients in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high until mixture boils, for about 3 minutes. Stir in confectioners sugar and vanilla. Pour into a greased 8 inch square baking pan.

In another micro-wave safe bowl, heat caramels and water on high for 2 minutes or until melted. Stir in peanuts; spread over chocolate layer. Microwave chocolate chips on high for 1 minute or until melted and spread over caramel layer. Chill until firm.
