ITALIAN STUFFED MUSHROOMS III

Category: Stuffed Mushrooms

1 lb large mushroom caps, stems removed and chopped
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 tsp dried basil
1 tbsp Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil and diced onion
Dash salt and pepper
2 clove garlic, finely chopped

Heat coals for direct heat. Brush an 8 inch square aluminum foil pan with vegetable oil. Place caps, stem sides up, in pan. Mix chopped stems and remaining ingredients; spoon onto mushroom tops. Cover pan with foil, sealing edges securely. Cover and grill mushrooms 4-6 inch from medium heat 15-20 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Serves 4
