APPLE SNACK CAKE

1 pkg applesauce spice bread mix
1 medium chopped apple
1 cup water
1 egg
1/4 cup packed brown sugar and chopped nuts
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp water

Heat oven to 350. Grease bottom of a 9 inch square pan. In a bowl, combine first 4 ingredients and pour into prepared pan. Combine remaining ingredients and sprinkle over batter. Bake for 30-34 minutes. Store in refrigerator.
