SEAFOOD PASTA CHOWDER

1 (6 oz) pkg miniature pasta bow ties or shells
1 (3 oz) can crabmeat, reserve liquid
1/3 cup butter
1 (8 oz) pkg mushrooms, sliced
2 (1 oz) pkg Knorr Newburg Sauce Mix
3 cups milk
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup dry white wine
1/4 cups green onions, sliced into 1/8 inch pieces
Parsley, garnish
Cook pasta according to pkg directions. Drain and rinse lightly with cold water to prevent it sticking together, set aside. Sort crabmeat to remove any shell pieces. Melt butter in a saucepan. Add mushrooms, sauté 3 minutes. Add sauce mix and stir well. Add milk, water and wine until it comes to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5-8 minutes, stirring constantly. Add green onions, pasta and crabmeat and reserved liquid. Stir to combine. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately. Serves 6
