HONEY HERB GRILLED PORK

Category: Pork 1 - Chops and Steaks


3 lb boneless pork chops or loin
1 cup ginger ale
1/2 cup honey and Dijon mustard
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tbsp onion powder
1 1/2 tsp rosemary leaves, crushed
1 tsp salt and garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper

Prepare marinade in a resealable bag. Add pork, turning to coat. Seal bag and refrigerate for 1 hour turning occasionally. Remove pork from bag and reserve marinade. Prepare covered grill with drip pan in center, banked by medium-hot coals.

Place chops on a grill 5 inch from heat source for 15 minutes or until meat thermometer reaches 150 degrees, turning once and basting occasionally. Let meat rest for 15 minutes to bring temperature to 160 degrees. Simmer leftover marinade 5 minutes and serve with meat. Serves 4
