HONEY CUSTARD FRENCH TOAST

1/2 cup honey
1 cup milk
6 eggs
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
12 slices french bread, cut 3/4 inch thick
butter

Pecan Syrup
2 tbsp melted butter
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 tbsp honey

Beat together first 5 ingredients. Dip bread into egg mixture, turning to coat. Melt a small amount of butter in skillet and brown the bread on each side. Syrup: Heat together ingredients together until sugar has melted.
