1 to 2 cups ketchup
12 oz tomato paste
1/4 cup lime or lemon juice
1 tsp vegetable oil
1 1/2 cup onion; chopped
2 clove garlic; chopped fine
12 oz beer
1 tbsp dark molasses
1 tbsp Creole mustard, optional
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 tsp red chilies; to taste
1-2 tsp salt; to taste
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1 to 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 Jalapeno; seeded and chopped

Heat ingredients to boiling in a 2 quart pan, reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer to desired thickness. Makes 5 cups sauce.
