CHEESY SOUR CREAM BISCUITS

1 2/3 cups flour
2 tbsp shortening
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup sour cream, whipped
1/4 cup cheddar cheese
1/4 cup red onion, optional

Cut shortening into flour. Add baking soda, salt and baking powder. Mix in whipped sour cream. Add cheese and onion. Roll out to a 1/2 inch thickness, cut with biscuit cutter.
Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 450 for 10 to 12 minutes.
