FUDGE FANCIFULS

Filling
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, room temperature
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 egg
2 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Base
1 pkg devils food cake mix
3 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 cup water

Preheat oven to 350. Blend filling ingredients until smooth; set aside. Blend all base ingredients. Pour half of base into a greased 13x9 inch baking pan. Spread with the filling. Pour remaining base on top. Bake for 45-55 minutes. Frost with chocolate or cream cheese frosting. Cut into squares.
