CHERRY TOPPED CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE

1 ready made butter flavored pie crust
Filling
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Dash salt
2 eggs
1 1/2 (1 oz) squares semi-sweet chocolate, melted
1 can cherry pie filling
In a mixing bowl, cream together first 4 ingredients of filling. Add eggs and mix well. Blend in melted chocolate. Place crust on baking sheet and pour cheesecake mixture over crust. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until center appears set and a knife comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes on a wire rack. Top with pie filling and chill at least 1 hour before serving.
